Académie Nexus

Académie Nexus, Paris · For leadership offices in the Gulf

Compromised.

We all think it will not happen to us, until it does. When the information that reaches a leadership office has been manipulated, every decision built on it is at risk. We help leadership teams verify, decide and respond, in English, French or Arabic.

A French executive education institution in Paris, Qualiopi-certified. Grounded in doctoral research on foreign information manipulation.

The exposure

What targets a leadership decision

The forged document

A fabricated memo, analyst report or due-diligence finding surfaces days before a vote or a closing.

The synthetic instruction

A video call or voice note from a senior executive authorises a payment or a change of terms.

The deal framed abroad

A cross-border investment is presented as a political act, to push a regulator or public opinion to block it.

The cloned media

A fake article on a copy of a respected outlet attributes statements to your leadership.

We usually trust what we believe to be true, even when it is not.

How we work

Three engagements, one aim: decisions that hold

Private briefing

30 to 45 minutes · the leader's office

A confidential conversation with our Academic Director on the scenarios most relevant to your organisation, and the questions your office should be able to answer.

Executive workshop

One day · leadership team

A preparatory interview, a scenario adapted to your sector, a working session and a debrief. You leave with a verification grid, an escalation protocol and a short list of priorities.

Leadership programme

Over the year · leadership and key functions

A two-day masterclass followed by decision drills through the year, so that the procedures stay alive when people and threats change.

Engagements are scoped and quoted after a first conversation. We do not present a workshop as an audit: we examine your procedures only when you ask us to.

What your team keeps

Keep your confidence, sharpen your discernment

  1. An out-of-band verification rule for any instruction received by video, voice or messaging app
  2. Named decision rights: who can pause a sensitive decision when a key input is in doubt
  3. A written escalation path from the first doubt to a decision, with deadlines in hours
  4. A monitoring brief covering what is said about you in English, French and Arabic
  5. A decision drill your leadership can repeat

The foundations

What the research shows, and what it does not

  • 21 documented foreign influence campaigns reconstructed and coded with the DISARM framework: the same techniques return, from cloned media to fabricated experts and AI-generated content.
  • The Epistemic Security Score, a proposed index of structural resilience to information manipulation, tested on European countries.
  • A pre-registered randomised trial (502 participants, 358 in the confirmatory analysis): a short awareness video produced no statistically significant reduction in the credibility given to manipulated content. It does not prove that awareness never works, nor that procedures do. It is a reason not to rely on a single briefing.
