The method
The programme draws on doctoral work conducted at CEDS, the Centre for Diplomatic and Strategic Studies (Paris), on the mechanisms of information interference in France and the European Union. It includes forensic reconstructions of real campaigns that targeted France between 2022 and 2024, and a registered measurement instrument, the Epistemic Security Score, computed for all twenty-seven EU member states (Zenodo, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.20837003).

The programme
Taxonomy of threats: interference, disinformation, astroturfing, hybrid operations. The cognitive mechanisms exploited: biases, heuristics, attentional saturation. Historical precedents and what they teach about today's campaigns.
The framework of societal resonators: why a society's primary vulnerability lies in its collective fault lines. Applying the Epistemic Security Score as a diagnostic. Measurement applied to your own organisation.
Five documented operations that targeted France, reconstructed from infrastructure to attribution. Timeline, actors, relays, amplification. What each campaign reveals about the defences that held and those that gave way.
Open-source investigation methods applied to influence operations. Structured analytic frameworks, detection of coordinated behaviour. A full exercise on a real corpus.
Deepfakes, manipulation at scale, content provenance. What generative AI changes for the attacker and for the defender. Disclosure obligations and defensive uses.
Designing a complete apparatus: structural upstream, detection in the flow, education downstream. Roles, procedures, alert thresholds. The apparatus is built on your organisation, not on a textbook case.
European and French regulatory frameworks. The tension with freedom of expression and the non-negotiable limiting conditions, articulated with Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights. Internal governance of the apparatus.
